This customer was based in Stevenage in North Hertfordshire. The car had been scuffed while this customer was in a well-known supermarket car park. When they returned to their vehicle they found that someone had gone into the rear bumper and scuffed off the paint.
As scuffs and paintwork scratches go on bumpers, this one is quite basic and a straightforward repair. Most repairs on bumpers generally go down through the plastic and require some kind of heavy filler in order to get the shape back, but this one has only had the paint grazed off. Due to the dramatic difference in the white colour of the scratch and the black colour of the car it looks worse than it actually is.
The photo below shows the damage on the rear bumper, as you can see the near side section on the rear would need to be painted in order to blend in the colour.
The repair was a quick one taking just over an hour and a half to completely repair the damage. The photo below shows the final result. As you can see it looks like new and as if it was never there in the first place.
